What is it?
This was once one of the main houses of the village with three floors, but over the years it has been degraded. However, the old granite stones remain firm and possible to be reused for the construction of a dwelling of modern standards, but able to integrate old elements. The house and the annex have a total construction area of 356 m².
Facilities
Next to the house there is a granite tank with crystal clear water that flows constantly from the mountains until you reach this tank, summer and winter. Probably this water can be used to water the terrain using gravity and also as drinking water, but no analyses have yet been made. The house has already had electricity and will require the installation of a septic tank.
Outer space
The property has a beautiful and idyllic plot, mainly agricultural, of approximately 1,900 m², filled with fruit trees including orange, tangerine, lemon, avocado, apple, pear, fig, cherry and diospiro.
Specifics
From the land and the house has wide and beautiful views of the Serra da Estrela to the south. This land enjoys a microclimate that allows citrus fruits and, for example, also the avocado, to do well.
If you want to start a local accommodation it should be noted that the current owners sell yet another property in this village, also to restore.
Location
The house is located in the village of Figueiral. The accesses are good through tarred road. The village of Figueiral itself has no services, but in the village of Campo de Besteiros, 3 km away, you will find several available on a small scale, such as cafes, shops, a bank and a restaurant. In Tondela, about 10 km, you will find all the essential services such as supermarkets, schools, small hospital and other health services, theater, library, weekly market and vocational school. It is about 30 km from Viseu is 30 km away and close to Caramulo, a beautiful nature reserve with several hiking trails. The Montebelo golf course is approximately 20 km away.
