FARM WITH MAGNIFICENT SOLAR | CENTRO DA LOUSÃ A Quinta do Casal de S. José is located in the historic center of Vila da Lousã and integrates a beautiful Solar with 616 m2, of exceptional character, erected at the beginning of the twentieth century (1923). The Solar is authored by the architect João de Moura Coutinho, raul lino school, with the collaboration of Jorge Colaço in the exterior tiles, and Leopoldo Battistini in the interior tiles. It is a manor house of charm, classified, surrounded by 9.941 m2 of land, which gives it total privacy. Imposing and neo-Baroque taste, the house develops in rectangular plant, presenting in one of the vertices a tower with three floors. On the interior level, it preserves the original division of the spaces, with the floors being connected by a noble staircase in solid wood. It has beautiful blue-screen finishes, representing bucolic, romantic and gallant scenes. Implanted in the center of the farm, it is preceded by a buxo garden, divided into two ovais areas that open the access path that connects the main gate of the farm, by iron, to the residence. The gate is by the painter Carlos Reis. On the main façade stands a staircase of a pitch and varandim, which runs all the upper floor of the frontispiece. This is torn by the entrance door to the interior, at the far left, and by stone frame windows with cornice, which print balance to the whole. On the left side was built the said turret, of square planimetry with pyramidal finish. The façade is opened on the second floor by a large balcony window, set on a window and preceded by iron varandim and, on the upper floor, by a tripartite window by colunelos. The side facades are marked by the regular opening of windows on the upper floor. On the rear façade, which is divided into three registers, stands an elegant porch staircase, access to the upper floor. The farmland is entirely fenced and walled, having entrance through three gates. The one in the back opens in front of the Montenegro Commander's House. . Occupying practically one block within the urban cluster of Vila da Lousã, the farm features a beautiful lawn, gardens, lake, swimming pool and several fruit trees. It has a daughter-in-law (well), with water for watering and swimming pool. It has vine vines in the surrounding inner paths. In the garden there is a beautiful and leafy grove of tileiras, a majestic centenary tileira with more than 30m high next to the main entrance and a beautiful caramanchão that gives entrance to the pool, next to a small lake. In addition to the main house, there is in the farm a small house and several annexes (stable, warehouse, smokehouse, chicken coops and corrals) that can be adapted to your needs. The Manor is in good condition and consists of 3 floors. The ground floor: - small 1 bedroom apartment, several shops, garage and games room. The 1st floor: - 3 living rooms (one of them with fireplace), dining room (with fireplace, access to balcony and lamp by Carlos Reis), kitchen, pantry, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The 2nd floor: - 6 bedrooms (3 of which in mansarda) and 2 bathrooms. According to the Lousã Municipal Master Plan in force, there is a detailed plan of the farm that allows the highlight of several lots with the possibility of construction (6 lots for villas of 2 floors and 2 lots for buildings with 6 fires each). Around the farm, we find a wide range of local commerce and services, namely supermarket, pharmacy, school, banks, cafes and restaurants. Lousã is a portuguese village in the district of Coimbra, in the province of Beira Litoral (Centro region), located between the cities of Coimbra and Oliveira do Hospital. The municipality borders Vila Nova de Poiares, Arganil, Góis, Castanheira de Pêra, Figueiró dos Vinhos and Miranda do Corvo. It has an extensive network of public schools, a Youth Hostel, a professional school and several private schools. It has an airfield and bus network. Quinta do Casal de S. José also has the privilege of being located next to the beautiful Lousã mountain range, considered one of the greatest treasures and one of the most romantic mountains of central Portugal, where you can enjoy a deep connection with nature. In addition to the castle that is imposed around a dense vegetation, you can also enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the famous Schist Villages, the natural pools, as well as dell the murmuring of the waters of the streams and waterfalls. A true natural paradise, in the interior of Portugal, full of history, good gastronomy and, above all, breathtaking natural landscapes. History: In the mid-19th century Quinta de São José, or Quinta de Baixo, was owned by Commander João Montenegro, who also owned the border estate to this, Quinta de Cima, where he built the residence that is still known for its name. At the beginning of the 20th century the heirs of the Commander sold the farms to two brothers from Lousã, the one from Above to Pedro Dias Anastácio and the Down to José Dias Anastácio. It was this who, at the same time, had the house built that stands today in the center of the farm, which recreates the imposing and austere taste of the 16th century manors, presenting a current model of national architecture of the first half of the century that became known as the Portuguese house. It was classified as of municipal interest in 2005. Available for more information.
